Like goth night at a Berlin diskotheque, this new badass Schwarzbier is dark and mysterious, but also a damn good party.
Disko Inferno is a black lager headed for the top of the charts, pulsing to the beat of subtle chocolate notes and crisp refreshment, with an uplifting chorus of noble hops. The Brewers Guild of New Zealand agreed, awarding it a silver medal for 2022.

Don’t be deceived by appearance. Unlike other dark beers, black lagers are lighter in body and bigger on refreshment.
A good Schwarzbier combines the crisp hop finish of a German lager with a jet black hue and subtle dark malt notes. A combination that creates a thirst quencher with an attractive depth of flavour.

Our schwarzbier is a heady blend of goth and disco, crisp lager refreshment with dark beer complexity. The deep black appearance and subtle chocolate and coffee notes come from the malt bill, with a mix of Kiwi and German pilsner, munich, and dark chocolate malts. Noble hops Perle and Saaz are added at various points, including a dry hop addition to pump up the floral aroma.
